Django Carrots is a 10 hours, intensive workshop on programming in Python with Django elements created by Geek Girls Carrots. It is designed for beginners who would like to start to learn how to code, structure their knowledge, learn good practices, and find a tool which will help them to continue learning in the future.
During the workshop, participants will work on individual projects in small groups (2-3 people + mentor) to learn how to code in Python and Django. Apart from the programming workshop, we will give the participants an opportunity to take part in a few lectures on new technologies, programming development communities and to learn about the news from the IT and Tech sectors.
After the workshop, the participants will get a list of links which they can use to learn Python and Django in the future as well as list of meetings, groups and programming events. Participants will also be able to continue learning during Code Carrots weeklyworkshops in selected cites or found their own Code Carrots group.

TESTIMONIALS
Estera Kot
3rd Edition’s participant:
"Thanks to Django Carrots I met wonderful people who inspire me to computer activities all the time!
Django Carrots was a guidepost, so that I found myself on the road with the road sign: WEB DEVELOPER and programmer.
I can even say that Django Carrots like crossover changed my life. The Passion of programming infects!"
Van Anh Dam
3rd Edition’s participant:
“You can learn how to code on online courses - google answers all your questions, (you can also) follow inspiring people on FB.
But being a part of a community that shows you the ropes, introduces you to people who can inspire you and supports you in your struggles to become someone you never though you could, that's a luxury that GGC provides to anyone who needs it.
And when I took my first steps into ICT world, I needed it badly :)"
